Build My 14 is a free, informational decision aid for golf equipment. There is no account, no registration, no subscription and nothing to buy. You answer a short set of questions and the site suggests fourteen club roles for your bag, with the reasoning shown.

The output is a starting point derived from your own answers and a fixed set of deterministic rules. It is not scientific measurement, not a qualified in-person club fitting, not medical, health or safety advice, and not a guarantee of any performance, score or distance outcome.

Self-reported carry distances are frequently optimistic, and the rules cannot see your strike, shaft, lie angle, length or ball flight. Treat the result as a shortlist of roles to test with a professional.

Club lofts, labels, sole designs, shaft specifications and stated distances vary significantly between manufacturers, models and individual players. Two clubs stamped with the same number are frequently not comparable. Always test clubs yourself, ideally with a fitter, before purchasing anything.

At launch the site names no product brands, models, retailers or offers, and contains no affiliate or sponsored links. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell goods, and no commercial relationship with any manufacturer or retailer is implied.

The site is provided as-is and as-available. It may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time, and no uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for equipment purchases you make on the basis of information found here. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and any mandatory statutory consumer rights you may have.

The text, design, structure and rule set of this site belong to the operator or its licensors. You may use the site and your own results for personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing your bag record. Systematic copying, scraping, republication or commercial reuse of the content requires prior written permission.

If you believe a recommendation rule or a factual statement is wrong, please report it via the contact page. Corrections to the rule set are welcome and are treated as improvements to the published method rather than complaints.

The service and these terms may be updated as the site develops — for example when new tools or comparisons are published. The version on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site at the time of that use.

Dutch law applies to these terms and to your use of the site. Where you use the site as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and the rules on which court is competent to hear a dispute continue to apply as provided by law.
